Description

It is proposed to create an extension to the current signed 40mph speed limit along the A4117, and on the B4363, at Cleobury Mortimer. This will reduce vehicle speeds on the approach to a sharp bend, which will improve road safety.

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF BRIDGNORTH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to make the following changes to the speed limits on various roads in Cleobury Mortimer:

40mph Speed Limit to be Revoked

A4117      From a point 264m east of its junction with New Road for a distance of 250m in an easterly direction.

New 40mph Speed Limit

B4363      From its junction with the A4117 for a distance of 26 metres in a north westerly direction.

A4117      From a point 25m north east of its junction with Yeldside Gardens, to a point 55 metres south east of the entrance to Castle Toot.

New 30mph Speed Limit

Lower Inhedge   Its entire length.        

30mph (street-lit)

A4117      From a point 16m east of its junction with New Road, to a point 25m north-east of its junction with Yeldside Gardens.
