Severn Valley Country Park Visitor Survey 2020

  • Period: 04 September 2020 - 18 October 2020
  • Status: Closed
  • Topics: Leisure Services
  • Type: Public

2019 and 2020 have been big years for Severn Valley Country Park. Our visitor centre was extended, our refreshment kiosk opened, and our new play area and family play trail were installed.

Take a look at our website to find out more.

In addition, our A project began. The overall aim of the project was to uncover the forgotten – and sometimes hidden – history of lives in the Severn Valley landscape. The sandstone quarrying and coal mining industries flourished in the area during 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The landscape also sustained ferries, farmers, the Potter’s Loade and Wood Cottage tenants, as well as holiday makers in wooden cabins on the banks of the River Severn.

The project was supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Shropshire Council and The Jean Jackson Charitable Trust. To find out more about the project, please visit the website.

We would love to find out what you think of the changes and what you think of Severn Valley Country Park in general. Please can we ask you to spare a few minutes of your time to complete this survey.

All results will be aggregated and not used to identify individuals. We will ensure we follow best practice under the Data Protection Act and will not share your details with third parties.
