- Status: Closed

- Topics: Planning
- Type: Public
In accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2015, Shropshire Council consulted the public on the Draft Stoke Upon Tern Neighbourhood Plan in August 2018.
Ahead of the examination into the Neighbourhood Plan the Council now feels it important we also consult on a Habitat Regulation Assessment (HRA) Screening Report in connection with the draft Neighbourhood Plan.
It is a legal requirement for local authorities to prepare a HRA for plans and projects which have the potential to impact on habitats of European importance. The purpose of the HRA Screening Report is to identify which international sites could possibly be affected by the proposals in the draft Stoke Upon Tern Neighbourhood Plan, the potential pathways by which the sites may be affected and, where possible, to detail avoidance or mitigation measures to be applied in allocating sites or drafting the wording of any policies.
You can view the HRA Screening Report for the Stoke Upon Tern Neighbourhood Plan on this page, along with the documents previously consulted on in August 2018. However, please note this consultation is only related to the HRA Screening Report for the Stoke Upon Tern Neighbourhood Plan.
If you have any comments on the content HRA Screening Report please can you make these to the Council by 5pm on Wednesday 6 March 2019.
Over the next few weeks Shropshire Council will be appointing an independent Examiner to assess the Neighbourhood Plan. This Examiner will give consideration to all the comments made at the Regulation 15 stage in August 2018, as well as any other comments made to the HRA Screening Report by 6 March.
