Aims to: Increase knowledge of dementia, appreciate the social impact and recognise good communication approaches

Learning objectives:

  • Summarise what Dementia is
  • Describe the most common types of Dementia
  • Consider communication and behaviour strategies to support someone with Dementia
  • Reflect on person centred approaches when supporting an individual with Dementia - a focus on the lived experience
