Aims to: Consider how resilience can help in protecting our mental well-being from deteriorating in stressful or difficult times with some practical tips of how we might work to enhance this.
Learning objectives: By the end of the session learners will have the opportunity to:
- Discuss resilience and its relationship with our well-being
- Explore the benefits of high resilience levels in stressful or challenging situations
- Reflect on emotional intelligence and its links with resilience and managing stress
- Consider how a workplace might support their staff’s well-being and resilience
- Identify some useful strategies that may help enhance resilience and manage stress
