This scheme offers one-to-one support from an experienced member of staff or volunteer through a weekly one hour session, for 8 -10 weeks. Participants will be supported in learning how to use their own device to search online, email, learn about online safety; social media; documents and storage; and photographs. We can also purchase a device and mifi for people 65+ in need (there is a specific criteria for this). To qualify for free equipment, the learner must fulfil at least two of the following criteria:

  • Aged 65 and over
  • In receipt of Pension Credit
  • Have a long term condition
  • Live alone
  • Have no access to broadband and/or a device at home

More information is available here. Read about previous learners’ experiences here.
