Bitesize provides support for learners aged 5 to 16+ across a wide range of school subjects. It also supports children and young people’s wellbeing and career choices. From April 20th Bitesize will be publishing daily lessons to help students across the UK with home schooling.

Fun, interactive and practical home learning resources that are designed to be used by Primary School aged children. These include interactive games, video tutorials and downloadable home learning packs.

Shakespeare Week website has lots of themed activities in their Kids’ Zone. There is a printable booklet to track what children have been doing. 


A free maths site – US grades but good for UK primary age


This is a maths website project put together by Cambridge University in order to help children thrive in maths. There are free, online mathematical activities for learners aged 3-19.

New York Philharmonic Kids Zone

A fantastic website with lots of games, puzzles and activities for children to learn all about music.

Arts Award Discover

To support childrens’ continued learning and engagement in the arts, Shropshire Libraries are offering children between the ages of 5 and 9 the opportunity to work towards Arts Award Discover from home for the duration of the UK Schools closure period. On completion, children will be awarded a certificate from Trinity College London, who manage Arts Award, in association with Arts Council England.
