The Munros are the 282 separate mountains over 3,000 feet in Scotland. Many hillwalkers are busy trying to ‘bag’ them all. Our Reader & Writer in Residence, Dave Andrews, has visited every summit.

In this talk he recalls the stunning mountain scenery of Scotland, the companionship of fellow walkers and the culture and people of a country he has grown to love.

He also tells us about spending nights alone (apart from mice!) in remote mountain bothies, making a navigation error which took him 20 miles off course and being caught in an avalanche, rescuing two of his companions.
