Oswestry Library’s Reader and Writer in Residence.

The surgery is an opportunity for writers and those interested in writing to talk informally with Dave about their own work or ideas. This year Dave will give priority to writers he hasn’t previously met in surgery.

Author Dave Andrews is from Wrexham but has lived near Oswestry for 26 years. Following several years teaching English and Welsh, he became a freelance writer and translator in 1996. He is the author of 10 books including ‘Wilfred Owen: Poet of Oswestry’, ‘Gobowen to Everest’ and ‘The Oswestry Round’.

Dave will also give talks on various aspects of English and Welsh literature and conduct creative writing workshops for writers working in either language. He is also available for private consultations via
