Easter opening for Shropshire libraries

During the Easter weekend, normal library opening times will be affected. Please check below to find out when your local library will be unavailable.

The following libraries will be closed on Good Friday (14 April 2017) and Easter Monday (17 April 2017):

  • Albrighton
  • Bridgnorth
  • Ludlow
  • Market Drayton
  • Oswestry
  • Shrewsbury
  • Whitchurch

The following libraries will be closed on Good Friday:

  • Bayston Hill
  • Church Stretton
  • Ellesmere
  • Library at the Lantern
  • Wem

Pontesbury library will be closed on Easter Monday.

Broseley library will close for Easter at 6pm on Thursday 13 April and re-open at 9.30am on Thursday 20 April 2017.

Bishop's Castle library will close for Easter at 7pm on Tuesday 11 April, and re-open at 10am on Tuesday 18 April 2017.

Craven Arms library will close for Easter at 10pm on Thursday 13 April, and re-open at 9.30am on Tuesday 18 April 2017.

Cleobury Mortimer library will close for Easter at 5pm on Thursday 13 April, and re-open at 9am on Tuesday 18 April 2017.

Highley library will be open as follows over the Easter weekend:

  • Friday 14 April:  9am – 1pm
  • Saturday 15 April:  9am – 3pm
  • Sunday 16 April:  9am – 3pm
  • Monday 17 April:  CLOSED

Shifnal library will close for Easter at 6pm on Wednesday 12 April and re-open at 10am on Wednesday 19 April 2017.
