We are delighted to be able to offer our members free e-Books to borrow. By simply using their library card number and PIN, Shropshire library members can download, for free, up to 4 e-Books for a maximum of 3 weeks.

There is a wide range of stock available from leading authors across all genres including children’s books. Members can login via our website and access the service from anywhere in the country, giving those who don’t find it easy to get into a library access to free books.

The new e-book service provides members with another reading option and adds to our existing online services of e-magazines and e-newspapers. The flexibility they bring to reading allows people to easily take library books with them, wherever they go, using their e-Reader, tablet or phone.

The ability to adjust the appearance of the page and the text can be really helpful to those with visual impairments and opens up a world of books that are not available in traditional large print.
