Phased reopening of libraries (11 August update)
Find out the latest from our 26 August update news page.
Shropshire Libraries are following national guidelines by taking a phased approach to reopening library services. This means that initially libraries will generally have reduced opening times and the services available may be limited.
This phased approach will help us to ensure that libraries are safe spaces for our customers, staff and volunteers. It also gives us the opportunity to review our approach as we go along with the flexibility to adjust our plans accordingly if required.
As they reopen our libraries will look and feel different, with various measures in place to guard against the spread of coronavirus. On this page there are some frequently asked questions that explain what you can expect as libraries reopen. In particular please note that face coverings are now mandatory in all library buildings.
