Shropshire Council

National Residential Landlords Association - Shropshire branch meetings

In conjunction with the National Residential Landlords Association, we run three meetings a year in the Council Chamber, Shirehall, Shrewsbury, 6pm to 8pm, where guest speakers are invited to talk on current issues.

This is an ideal opportunity for private sector landlords to build useful relationships with local authority officers and other housing professionals, keep up to date with legislation and NRLA news, and a chance to network with other like-minded landlords.

It's not a requirement to be a member of the NRLA to attend.

Topics recently covered included tenant rent help, fuel efficiency, tenancy agreements, health and safety items, student accommodation, condensation problems and legislative changes.

If you'd like to attend, receive information or want to have a chat regarding the meetings, please contact us.

Meeting dates

Unfortunately meetings are suspended until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic.  The NRLA are now running monthly online webinars for their members.  The next one is Legislative Update and Arrears Management  -  Tuesday 19 January 2021  6:30 PM. From next month, they will be running advice and guidance surgeries within these webinars and hope these will be a useful tool.

If you would like to join the meeting, please email the local NRLA representative for details of membership:
