The Financial Services team provides a wide-ranging financial support service as follows:

• Strategic management and planning in respect of the funding of the service
• Management and planning of the local schools' budgets
• Budgeting, monitoring and accounting for the work of the service
• Financial support to schools and service managers
• Reporting to the Directorate Management Team, corporate finance and members
• Completion of grant claims, government returns and statutory financial statements
• Management and administration of schools' internal insurance schemes
