Shropshire is an inclusive local authority, so for the majority of children and young people with a special education need and or a disability (SEND) their local mainstream school will be able to meet their identified needs with additional support. For a small number of children and young people with complex education, health and care needs a placement in a specialist hub or specialist school may be identified as appropriate.
