Funding information for settings

Support, advice and funding can be applied for following targeted intervention using existing resources (the enabling environment document, – Shropshire’s early speech and language development chart and person-centred plan), giving a clear understanding of child’s needs and or concerns including any advice from other professionals.

Take a look at how you can identify needs of children in your setting on the diagram attached.

Please use the support request form to highlight those children for whom you feel you need additional support in order to meet their needs. Once you have completed this form you will need to send an email to: neville.ward@shropshire.gov.uk to advise us that you have made the support request. Please ensure that you attach to the email, the supporting documents to accompany the request.

The supporting documents we would expect to see are as follows:

  • EY Person Centred Plan
  • Enabling Environments' Chart
  • Shropshire Language Chart
  • Behaviour Chart
  • Behaviour Plan

The email itself need no longer be encrypted but any documents within the email should be password protected. To find out how to password protect a document please visit the Microsoft support website.

Requests are reviewed every two weeks.
