The Hive Shrewsbury - Creative programmes for young people
Hive Shrewsbury have some exciting creative programmes coming up as part of their MYCollege wellbeing project including Video Making, Theatre, Art Club, Music Club and The Fire Inside. They are specifically designed to support young people experiencing transitory challenges in life, help them gain independence, learn new skills, make connections with others, explore ideas, build confidence and have fun.
The workshops are led by a team of professional artists and they support care experienced young people, adult carers, young adults in touch with mental health services, autistic young adults, young people with special educational needs, young people living in poverty and young adults living in supported housing.
All of their projects work towards four core outcomes:
1. Feel positive and more confident
2. Feel comfortable in being who they are
3. Value working with others
4. Build their own resilience
