The Jack Mytton Way is Shropshire's long distance bridleway (for use by those on foot, bicycle and horseback). Comprising over 100 miles of rural bridleways and quiet country lanes, this trail takes you through some of Shropshire's most beautiful and unspoilt countryside.
The development of the southern loop, through some of the lesser known parts of south Shropshire, means that you can now do a circular ride. The JMW logo (horse and horseshoe) denotes the route, and the original route is shown on Ordnance Survey Explorer Maps.
Depending on your level of experience, it should take you between 5-7 days to complete the whole 100 miles on horse back. More information about planning your break and where to stay in Shropshire is available from Shropshire Tourism or Shropshire riding websites. Follow the links available on this page.
