• 12 February 2026 – publication of notice of referendum
• 3 March 2026 (midnight) – deadline for registration applications to vote in the referendum area
• 4 March 2026 (5pm) – postal vote application deadline
• 11 March 2026 – publication of notice of poll and situation of polling stations
• 11 March 2026 (5pm) – proxy vote application deadline
• 11 March 2026 (5pm) – voter authority certificate application deadline
• 19 March 2026 – polling day (7am to 10pm)
• 20 March 2026 – declaration of result
