Shropshire Council is actively supporting the development of a group for staff who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender.
There have been a number of significant changes in the law recently, for example: equal treatment at work for lesbians and gay men; the repeal of Section 28; and civil partnership law for people in same sex relationships.
Next Meeting date
Please put the following dates in your diaries now, it will be great to see you there.
- Saturday 23 May 2pm at Birmingham Pride (meet up at the Unison stall)
- Saturday 27 June 7 pm at the Gateway Shrewsbury (to celebrate 40 yrs since "Stonewall"; with showing of the film "Rainbows End"
