The library has been extended and now accommodates a Shropshire Customer First point which will offer improved local access to county and district council services and information.The Bridgnorth Visitor Information Centre and the Registrar of Births Marriages and Deaths also share the library building.

Bridgnorth Library has a good range of books, DVDs, compact discs, CD ROMs, cassettes, talking books and language courses. Computer facilities include free Internet access as part of the People's Network package, word processing, spreadsheets, and desktop publishing. A scanner is also available for use.

There is a programme of activities for children which can be downloaded or opened online from the link on this page.

Bridgnorth Local History Week will take place at the library from 19 to 23 May 2008. There will be several events taking place. The library would also like to copy old photographs to be added to the local history photographic collections.
