Facilities
Cleobury Mortimer Library is situated on the left hand side next to the Parish Hall as you enter the village of Cleobury Mortimer. It is a compact but friendly library with access to a full range of library services including two computers for free Internet access via the People's Network.

Events
There is an Adult Reading Group which meets on the second Monday of each month. There is an active Friends group that supports the library. A copy of a leaflet outlining service provided can be downloaded or opened online from the link on this page. You can also find a copy of the community profile for this library, which includes an indication of how well this library is performing. Cleobury Mortimer Library is one of the branches in the South Shropshire Library Area and is managed from Ludlow Library.

A new library for Cleobury Mortimer
Shropshire Council is working with Cleobury Country Ltd. to provide a new public library facility for Cleobury Mortimer and the surrounding area. This will be part of the new Cleobury Country Centre which is being built on Love Lane in front of Lacon Childe School. The Centre will include a conference facility, training room and three rentable offices for small businesses as well as the community library. Building work started on site on 19 October 2009 and is due to be completed in May 2010. Please follow the link on this page for more details about the new building.
