Around 70,000 people lined the streets to welocme the Olympic Torch as it passed through 11 Shropshire communities on 24 and 30 May 2012.
Follow the links on this page to view a street level map for each community that the torch passed through, carried by a Torchbearer.
Except where indicated by a thick blue line on the attached maps, the torch was in convoy mode where travelled in a vehicle from community to community.
The convoy consisted of an activation convoy which included the three presenting partners' vehicles. along with police and official Torch Relay transport. This part of the convoy was followed, approximately 7-10 minutes later, by the Flame convoy which included the Torchbearer. There is a plan of the two convoys attached to this page.
The atmosphere during the two days was fantasic. Please visit our Facebook page to see lots of photos and videos of the days - you can also add yours.
