Shropshire Council owns five Household Recycling Centres (HRC's). These are manned facilities where you can recycle 30 different types of waste.

Where are they?

• Bridgnorth HRC (Barnsley Lane)
• Craven Arms HRC (off Long Lane)
• Oswestry HRC (Mile Oak Industrial Estate)
• Shrewsbury HRC (Battlefield Enterprise Park)
• Whitchurch HRC (Waymills Civic Park)

When are they open?

At present the sites are on their winter opening times which is 9am to 5pm every day.

Entry Permits

If you are bringing waste to the site in a van or large trailer you will need to apply for an entry permit in advance.

Materials you can recycle

You can recycle 30 different types of waste at our Household Recycling Centres. The possibilities are endless.

Bulky item collections

If you cannot take waste to the HRCs yourself then (for a small charge) we can arrange a collection for you.
