Description

The proposed parking restrictions in the locations named within this Order will help avoid danger by providing safer parking and improved visibility, improved flow of traffic and access for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists wishing to use the roads and improve the amenities of the area through which the roads run.

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS STREETS, ALBRIGHTON) (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to introduce the following parking restrictions in Albrighton:

No waiting at any time

Station Road

(north side)

From its junction with the A41 Albrighton Bypass to the property boundary of 95 and 111 Station Road.

From the property boundary of 1 Brooklands Road and 67 Station Road to the property boundary of 49 and 51 Station Road.

Station Road

(south side)

From its junction with the A41 Albrighton Bypass to its junction with the unadopted road leading to Albrighton Railway Station.

From a point opposite the property boundary of 49 and 51 Station Road to the western property boundary of 42 Station Road

From a point 33 metres east of the western property boundary of 42 Station Road for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.

From a point 115 metres east of the western property boundary of 42 Station Road for a distance of 7 metres in an easterly direction.

Cotswold Drive

(both sides)

From its junction with Station Road for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction.

Windsor Road

(both sides)

From its junction with Station Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

Limited waiting Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, 1 hour no return within 1 hour

Station Road

(north-west side)

Between points 93.1 metres north-east of its junction with High Street and 22.6 metres south-west of its junction with Bushfield Road.

Station Road

(south side)

From the western property boundary of 42 Station Road for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly direction.

From a point 83 metres east of the western property boundary of 42 Station Road for a distance of 32 metres in an easterly direction.

Station Road

(north-west side)

From a point 85.1 metres north-east of its junction with High Street for a distance of 8 metres in a north-easterly direction.

Prohibition of stopping on school keep clear markings

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Shaw Lane

(both sides)

From a point 52.3 metres south of the junction with Station Road for a distance of 38 metres in a southerly direction.
