Report a highways fault or concern

With over 5,000 kilometres of roads, cycleways, footpaths and verges in Shropshire, it isn't possible for us to inspect all of the network all of the time. You can help us by reporting any maintenance problems you see using our online service.

It's important to provide accurate details of the problem, including:

  • What the problem is
  • Where it is located
  • When you noticed the problem
  • Your name and contact details

What happens next?

All reports will be responded to within seven to ten working days. For urgent problems we aim to visit the site within 24 hours. For non-urgent problems it may be more cost effective for the inspection to be delayed until a member of the local highway maintenance staff is near the area.

Emergency problems

If the problem is urgent, please telephone 0345 678 9006 (Highways Customer Services).

Problems notified to us online over the weekend will not normally be read until Monday morning.
