In response to the risks of the Omicron variant, the government has announced that England will move to Plan B. This has an impact on licensed premises and those who visit and work in them. Detailed guidance on the restrictions being put in place can be found here.

Licensed premises must ensure they have read and understood the guidance and put into place the necessary measures to control the spread of the virus. Further information is also available on the Shropshire Council website here. Resources businesses can use to promote the use of face coverings can be found here.

Specific guidance on carrying out mandatory COVID-19 status checks at your event or venue can be found here.
