Sources of information for parents, carers, children and young people

  • Healthier Together: Healthier Together provides advice for parents, young people and pregnant women, as well as clinical resources to support healthcare professionals, which means that your child can receive consistently high-quality care, irrespective of which healthcare professional they see

  • Mental Health Perinatal Community (Shropshire) Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust: Shropshire Community Perinatal Mental Health Team (PMHT) provides specialist assessment and support for women across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, providing both support to those women experiencing mental health difficulties and those at risk of developing mental health difficulties up until a year after baby's birth.   • Young Minds has lots of information to support young people, parents and carers and those who work with young people.

  • Bee U: The emotional health and wellbeing service for people, up to the age of 25, living in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. 

  • Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families - information for supporting young people's mental health during periods of disruption.

  • MIND National organisation who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They also campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding

  • Hope Again: The youth website of Cruse Bereavement Care. It is a safe place where you can learn from other young people, how to cope with grief, and feel less alone.
