I’ve worked in building control for over 34 years (since 1987). Prior to Shropshire, I was a lead building control surveyor in Cheshire West and Chester Council building control. I'm a corporate member of the Association of Building Engineers (MCABE) and have also successfully completed the LABC level 6 fire safety assessment. I have wide experience in building control from domestic to large commercial projects and heritage buildings, being previously involved with Chester City Centre Rows fire safety surveys. In my spare time I enjoy crown green bowls and captain two bowls teams. I also enjoy motor sport, football and live music.
