Gaming machine permit

Gaming machines fall into different categories depending on the maximum stake payable, and the value of prizes on offer.

The Gambling Act 2005 defines a gaming machine as a machine designed or adapted for use by individuals to gamble (whether or not it can also be used for other purposes). Most gaming machines are of the reel-based type, also known as fruit, slot, or jackpot machines.

Yes, if you operate a premises which is licensed to supply alcohol for consumption on the premises and wishes to provide gaming machine on the premises

There is a fee for issuing this document, which is taken when you apply.
