The works will involve Western Power replacing a section of underground cable on Vanguard Way adjacent to the Shrewsbury Household Recycling Centre. The new reinforced cable will allow for more capacity and help minimise the risk of future outages for businesses within the area. Once in place the new cable is expected to last for a period of up to at least 40 years.
