Dear hosts and guests,

Please come and join in the celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Thursday 2 June. It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible.

The gates of the castle will be open from 6.30pm on Thursday so bring a picnic to enjoy with friends and guests (free entry). The beacon will be lit at the top of the Norman Tower at 9:45pm as part of the official lighting of beacons across the country.

There will also be the opportunity to buy food from stalls near the market and you can eat either in the market place or take into the castle grounds and picnic.

This should be a lovely social event to meet with other hosts and Ukrainian families.

Please wear a flower or Ukrainian symbol to identify yourselves!
