Shrewsbury Colleges Group

Formed in 2016 by the merger of Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology and Shrewsbury Sixth Form, the college offers specific learning support for students with special educational needs and/or specific needs. These may include school orientation visits, bespoke pastoral and learning support, development of independent study skills through one-to-one sessions with an assistive technologist, and assistance to explore or use a range of assistive technologies. Bespoke study programmes are offered at their three campuses:

  • London Road Campus – vocational and academic qualifications offered in hairdressing, beauty, catering, travel and tourism, construction, business, accounting, sport, public uniformed services, art, performing arts, fashion, photography, engineering and many more.
  • Welsh Bridge Campus – academic qualifications including maths, applied science, law, history, English, chemistry and many more subjects.
  • English Bridge Campus – academic and vocational qualifications specialising in the arts.
  • Post 19 Futures Provision (London Road) - in partnership with Severndale Academy, supporting students with special educational needs in vocational and work based learning.
